DescriptionGuard dog with collar reading "U.S." stands next to a box labelled "State Treasury / Excelsior / $ / for the / Public Schools." Man leaning over a wall to the right of the box holds a sack reading "Parochial / schools may / be admitted to / the benefits / of the / common school / system subject / to its laws." Behind the man are signs about the school system, and two paragraphs titled "Board of Education, Please / Take Notice." are typeset in black ink in the upper left corner of illustration. Captioned "PUBLIC WATCH-DOG (that don't care about having Father WALKER administer the Sacraments to him). 'If you think to stop my mouth, you will be greatly mistaken.
