DescriptionA woman's hand, resting on a table, next to a pan of rhubarb and loose apples. The edition was produced exclusively by Light Work as part of the 2012 Fine Print Program. In her series "Some Fox Trails in Virginia", Susan Worsham evokes a Southern Gothic atmosphere in which the verdure of this landscape and its people seems to have run wild and then aground. Worsham began the series when she was thirty-four and had moved back home to Virginia to care for her mother, her last living relative, who died shortly there-after. With an exquisite use of color and an ability to weave a quiet thread of grace through every image, Worsham reveals the world of her childhood through the experience of an adult's eyes. Worsham participated in Light Work's Artist-in-Residence Program in 2010 (SOURCE: Light Work's Certificate of Authenticity).
