DescriptionStill life depicting a compote of peaches with green background. The artist, Mary Eliza Brigham Bemus, was the sister of Professor Albert Perry Brigham, a renowned geographer and geologist with ties to Colgate University, Harvard, Cornell University, the University of Wisconsin, Oxford University, the University of London, and the Library of Congress.
