Description"Linda Adele Goodine’s record of artistic accomplishments includes over 150 national and 30 international exhibitions venues, 25 lectures, and major grants include the Efroymson Fellowship, the Indianapolis Art Commission Creative Renewal Grant, two Indianapolis Art Commission Individual Artist Program Grants, the Aaron Siskind Foundation Fellowship, The Southern Federation for the Arts Fellowship, and the NEA Interarts Program/Rockefeller Foundation New Forms Florida Grant collaboration with Chuck Badland. The Florida State Art Council also awarded her an Individual Artist Grant, and she was twice nominated for a Tiffany Award. She has held residencies in England, New Zealand, Greece, France, Germany, Mexico, Macedonia, and Montenegro. She is currently a Professor of Art at the Herron School of Art, Indiana University, Indianapolis. She is also an Artist-Teacher at the Vermont College of Art. She has received four teaching awards, two from the Harry Davis Excellence in Teaching, one from Indiana University Trustees, and one from the Indiana University Athletics Department. Her career has included photographic, video, performance, and installation work. Goodine was a Light Work Artist-in-Residence in 1986 and 1997." (SOURCE: Light Work, Syracuse, NY)
