Skip to main contentBiographyLeonebel Jacobs was born in 1883 in Tacoma, Washington. Very little is known about her life, but she did create propaganda posters for the United States during World War I, the most famous among them being “The fruits of victory.” She also painted portraits of Herbert Hoover and Emperor Pu Ti. Her work is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Library of Congress, and the Smithsonian. She died in 1967.
