DescriptionMan standing center right of composition has his hand on a piece of paper reading "Very / Civil Rights / in the / House / of Representative" sitting on top of a short table. A tiger is pouncing at him with his mouth wide open, but the man looks unalarmed. Tiger has collar reading "John / the Young / Brown Tiger. Dem. / of KY." Four men hold the tail of the tiger. In the background a judge is standing up behind his stand, raising a gavel in his hand. His stand reads "Gentlemen you must / not let / your wild animals / loose till / the next session." "--[See Page 182]" typeset following title in black ink.
