DescriptionModel in thirty-six pieces depicting a paifang, a commemorative architectural structure used at temples and city gates in imperial China. Inscriptions on the columns mention who is being honored on life-sized paifang. Because this gate was likely made for the tourist market, some of the inscriptions are nonsensical or illegible. One legible inscription reads: "‘Bright moon shining between the pines; clear water flowing over the stones."
