DescriptionThis photograph depicts the CSX Erie Canal Bridge, a Baltimore warren through truss bascule bridge with overhead counterweight over the Barge Canal (Erie Canal) between Tonawanda and North Tonawanda. It was built by the Strauss Bascule Bridge Co. of Chicago, Illinois. The length of its largest span is 127 ft. and its total length is 489.9 ft.
