DescriptionThere is a female head between tendrils and running S-pattern; on body, a rosette and dotted trefoils. Isolated heads are a popular and common decorative motif on South Italian vases. Gnathia vessels are a type of pottery belonging to ancient Apulian vase painting of the 4th century BCE.
