DescriptionBoom In California: For ten years a migration has taken place within the borders of the United States. Surprisingly this has been little talked about in Europe as this migration is one of the most striking phenomenons in American life. Day by day, for about the past 8 years, 2,500 people have arrived in California from other states within the country. About half are headed for Los Angeles, the other half are spreading to other places along the Pacific coast. San Francisco also attracts a considerable number of these migrants. This means that the population of California increases by approximately 800,000 people from one year to the next, an unprecedented demographic surge in the USA. Norris Poulson, mayor of Los Angeles. The growth of this city has set a world record over the past ten years, 1958 - Paul Almasy
