Description"Wendy Red Star grew up immersed in Crow culture and art on the Apsáalooke (Crow) reservation in Montana. In her work she attempts to decolonize photography, often by approaching issues of representation humorously. Typical of her brash juxtapositions of popular culture and Native American cultural and gender identities, this print is part of a collaborative series, The National Indian Leg Wrestling League of North America."
