DescriptionThe imagery found in the inkjet chine collé comes from the artist's archives of photographs she took of sunsets in New Mexico––López is from Santa Fe and wildfires out West have had drastic affects on the sunsets. López's use of laser-engraving in the print explores further the idea of man-made interference with nature or natural imagery.
