DescriptionBlue Corn became famous for reviving San Ildefonso polychrome ware after it had virtually disappeared after the popularity of Maria Martinez’s blackware, although she produced blackware and redware as well. She is known for her finely polished slips and experimentation with clays and color, producing cream polychrome such as this vessel.
