DescriptionFrom the porfolio forward: "Dan Wills studied at Haverford College, the Rhode Island School of Design and Cornell University. He now teaches sculpture and foundation courses at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Wills' sculptures are made of multiple wood forms, their surfaces painted or charred and patterned by the lace of wires that bind them together. Wills' contribution to Sculptors' Edition, Cut Out, is a direct extension of this three dimensional work. A collagraph print in three colors, it may be cut outside the black line, folded and braced to stand."
