BiographyGerald Cyrus began photographing in 1984 in the city of Los Angeles, where he had been born in 1957. He earned an MFA from the School of the Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City in 1992. He moved to Philadelphia in 2000, where he currently lives and teaches part-time at Haverford College.
