DescriptionIllustration occupies full front cover with the cation "The Next Thing in Order / (The Portrait of the Seceratary of the Treasury is Drawn as Mildly as Possible)". An anthropomorphic donkey is dressed in a suit and seated at a desk writing a resignation letter while an Uncle Sam figure stands next to the desk, looking on and pointingat the letter, hat removed and in hand. Verso is four columns of advertisements and opinion essays.
