DescriptionVintage print. "On the hill a little cemetery where one may enter and pay homage to the recent dead lying behind a glass partition. The caretaker, in his old German handwriting, has placed a card for those who care: '84 years of life and a house she possessed.' Between the crosses, a wall separates the village natives from newcomers, refugees from the East, and retired businessmen. Newcomers are buried outside the cemetery." (SOURCE: "Made in Germany")
