DescriptionPortrait of a woman in a lace bonnet. The photograph was published in the January 1905 edition of "Camera Work," alongside an article discussing Eva Watson-Schütze as a strong example of a Pictorialist photographer. Watson-Schütze was one of the founding members of the Photo-Secession, a movement formed by Alfred Stieglitz (1864-1946) in 1902 to promote photography (in the Pictorialist style) as a fine art.
