DescriptionSmall-scale carving in the form of a human face with holes through the temples on each side, likely for wearing or hanging as a pendant. Form and style is very similar to larger Teotihuacan Masks from the Teotihuacan Classical Period (c. 200-650 CE), widely believed to have been used for public funerary purposes.
