DescriptionAttached to this doll's neck would have been a stuffed cloth torso, often without legs. Dolls of this type were played with by girls until menstruation began when they were given away. This doll's ears are pierced for earrings. Doll heads of this type were secured in trade from the Athabascan Indians. This object appears to be affiliated with 1984.495.
