Faute de pieces detachees, la marine depecerait certains navires pour entretenir les autres, selon l'attache militaire americain a Teheran.
The Iranian Navy: 22,000 men, 3 destroyers, 4 frigates, 4 corvettes, 5 patrol boats, 5 dredgers, 2 landing craft, 14 Hovercraft, 1 submarine.
Because of a lack of spare parts, the navy is said to take aprt certain ships in order to repair others, according to the U.S. military attache in Tehran.
